India Seniors qualify

BANGALORE, SEPT. 22. India Seniors qualified from the Middle Asia Zone with a 98-73 win over Afghanistan in the three-team FIBA Asia conducted tournament at the Sree Kanteerava stadium here on Wednesday morning.

Riyazuddin was once again the main scorer for the host.

The result: India 98 (Riyazuddin 25, Trideep Rai 18, Chandra Shekaran 14, Sambaji Kadam 10) bt Afghanistan 73 (Obaidullah 32, M. Jawad 21).
