HASC drubs GPC
BANGALORE,
SEPT. 22.
Hindustan Aeronautics Sports Club (HASC) drubbed Government Press Club 10-0 to score its fifth win in six matches of the Bangalore District Football Association's Super division league championship for the George Hoover Cup at the Football Stadium here on Wednesday.
Kenneth Onu (second and 12th minutes), Dayanand (11th and 30th) and Xavier (30th and 70th) scored a brace each. The other scorers were Murali (45th), Freddy (76th), Satish (80th) and Shyam Kumar (90th).
In the `A' division league, Royals defeated BEML 3-1. Wilfred (2) and Tamarai netted for Royals, while Assington reduced the margin for BEML.
