KOLKATA, SEPT. 22. Bengal's Habibur Rehman Mondal and Gouramangi Singh have been named joint captains for the 20-member Indian squad for the final round of Asian Football Confederation's (AFC) youth (under-20) championship. The event will be held in Malaysia from September 25 to October 9. The team leaves for Kuala Lumpur tomorrow. The national coach, Stephen Constantine, retained a sizeable number of players from the team that finished runner-up at the SAF Games in Islamabad earlier this year. India, which initially did not make it to the finals after failing in the qualifiers, was a surprise inclusion as the original qualifier, Turkmenistan, pulled out from the competition.
