Sania advances

HYDERABAD, SEPT. 22. Sania Mirza of India outplayed P. Fredrica of Portugal 6-1, 6-2 to move into the pre-quarterfinals of the $50,000 ITF women's world ranking tournament at Lebanon, according to information received here on Wednesday.

Sania, ranked 280, needed only 55 minutes to beat the 264th-ranked Fredrica.
