This Day That Age
Mr. J.R.D. Tata, Chairman of the Air India International, has been conferred the Cross of an Officer of the Legion d-Honneur (Legion of Honour), by the President of the French Republic, a report from Paris said. At a brief ceremony on September 17, the Minister of Transport, Public Works and Tourism, Mr. Jacques Chaban-Delmas, decorated Mr. Tata. Mr. Tata was in Paris at that time attending the annual conference of the International Air Transport Association.
