NGO association meet begins

PATHANAMTHITTA, SEPT. 23. The Civil Supplies Minister, Adoor Prakash, inaugurated the 21st annual district meet of the Kerala NGO Association at the Gym Palace Auditorium here today.

The District Congress Committee president, K. Sivadasan Nair, presided over the inaugural function. The DCC vice-president, P.Mohanraj, secretaries, A. Shamsuddin, R. Induchoodan, Pazhakulam Sivadasan, Konniyoor P. K., the Youth Congress district president, A. Sureshkumar, and the Mahila Congress district president, Rajalakshmi Amma, also addressed the meet.

The delegates' session that followed was inaugurated by the association State president, Kambara Narayanan, and the vice-president, N. B. Rajagopal, presided. The KNGOA State treasurer, Rajan Kurukkal, and the secretary, G. Rajan, also spoke.

The District Panchayat president, K. K. Royson, the District Co-operative Bank president, Peelipose Thomas, the Thiruvalla East Co-operative Bank president, K. Jayavarma, and the association district vice-president, M. C. Rajan Pillai, were among those who addressed the afternoon session.
