HYDERABAD, SEPT. 24. T.Ch. Surya Rao, Judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, today declined to quash the criminal complaint filed against K.Chandrasekhara Rao, Union Minister and president of the Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS). The Judge was dealing with a petition filed by Chandrasekhara Rao. It may be recalled that Prahalad, a practising advocate, filed a private complaint against the TRS chief complaining that the TRS leader had collected money in the name of allotting ticket as the party was contesting all the Assembly seats and after that he entered into an alliance with the Congress party and the money deposited for the ticket was not returned to him. Mr. Chandrasekhara Rao filed the present criminal petition pleading with the court to quash the complaint filed in the criminal court. Justice Surya Rao said that no case was made out to quash the complaint. The judge, however, quashed a FIR filed against the TRS leader by one person namely Purushottam while allowing the petition filed by Mr. Chandrasekhara Rao.
