KUMARAKOM, SEPT. 24. The Sri Lankan team, which is packed with internationals, led the table with an average of 50 VPs after the third round of the team of four duplicate event in the Sethubhandanam bridge tournament which began at the Kottayam Club Annexe here on Friday. The early rounds of the 10-round event were close. Tamil Nadu (48 points) and host Kerala (47) gave Sri Lanka a hot chase after round three. Three teams each from Sri Lanka and Tamil Nadu and five from Kerala figure in the three-day tournament.
