Inderdeep bowls Subhania to victory

NEW DELHI, SEPT. 24. Inderdeep Singh (five for 17) helped Subhania Club defend its small total against Shahadra Sports in a league match of the DDCA under-17 cricket tournament here. After being restricted to 158 for nine in the allotted 50 overs, Subhania Club dismissed Shahadra Sports to 50 to win by 108 runs.

Subhania Club 158 for nine in 50 overs beat Shahadra Sports 50 in 16.2 overs (Inderdeep Singh five for 17).

Pahari Dhiraj Club 225 for six in 50 overs (Virat Kohli 59, Rahul Suri 46, Varun Sood 40) beat Chand Khanna Club 148 in 44.2 overs (Sumit Nehra 43, Neeraj Malhotra 41).

Darya Ganj Club 63 in 27.3 overs lost to Maya Puri Club 67 for three in 17.5 overs.

Patel Nagar Club 208 for nine in 50 overs (Ashok Kumar 61 n.o., Nitin Kumar 54) beat Telefunken 145 for seven in 35 overs.

Paragon Club 106 in 46 overs (Nitish Aswal 52) lost to R.R. Gymkhana 108 for no loss in 24.1 overs (Kartik Bhatia 48 n.o., Manu Sharma 44 n.o.).

Kishan Ganj Colts 125 in 45.3 overs (Luv Shorey five for 26) lost to Darling Club 126 for six in 40.2 overs.
