NEW DELHI, SEPT. 24. An alleged call girl racket being operated from Malviya Nagar in South Delhi by a woman pimp has been busted by the Crime Branch of the Delhi police. Six women, including the pimp, have been arrested. According to the police, a decoy was sent to the house of the pimp, Kamlesh Srivastava, a resident of Panchsheel Vihar, on Thursday to strike a deal. After she accepted Rs. 1,000 in advance, the waiting police team rounded up all six women. Interrogation of the accused revealed that most of the women, aged between 19 and 28, had initially approached her for odd jobs. Kamlesh, however, enticed them into entering the flesh trade promising them huge monetary returns. The police said the women also admitted that they entered the trade willingly to earn easy money. The police said Kamlesh also used to charge Rs. 500 as rent from the women for allowing them to use her house for prostitution purposes. The women were also sent to various residential places in South Delhi. The clients were charged anywhere between Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 10,000 for a night.
