Double for Rajashree

HYDERABAD, SEPT. 25. Rajashree Vidya Mandir bagged a double, winning the boys' and girls' volleyball titles in the sixth Annual YMCA Kargil Victory sports festival at Hyderabad YMCA here on Friday.

The results:

Basketball: Boys: final: Artillery Centre (BSC) bt Agarwal HS 33-14. (Semifinals): Agarwal HS bt Allen HS 13-10; Artillery Centre bt St. Paul's 27-20.

Kho-kho: Boys: final: Wesley HS, Nacharam, bt Brilliant Grammar School 12-9. (Semifinals): Wesley School bt Oxford Grammar School 21-2; Brilliant Grammar School bt Oxford Grammar School `B' 9-7. (Girls: final): Bhega's HS bt GHS, Kachiguda, 10-9. (Semifinals): GHS bt DAV Safilguda 14-9; Bhega's bt Wesley 12-9.

Kabaddi: Girls: final: Oxford Grammar School bt Wesley School (Nacharam) 59-45.

Volleyball: Girls: final: Rajashree Vidya Mandir bt Ekasila HS 15-4, 15-2. (Semifinals): Ekasila HS bt DAV Safilguda 15-13, 15-6; Rajashree Vidya Mandir bt St. Joseph's School 15-13, 15-6.

Boys: final: Rajashree Vidya Mandir bt DAV Safilguda 25-23, 25-21. (Semifinals): Rajashree Vidya Mandir bt Brilliant Grammar School 25-14, 25-8; DAV Safilguda bt Ekasila HS 16-25, 25-18, 25-18.
