APP in final
HYDERABAD,
SEPT. 25.
Andhra Pradesh Police (APP) and Sports Authority of India (Sports Training Centre) entered the final of the Rajiv Gandhi Memorial invitational hockey tournament here on Saturday.
In the semifinals, SAI-STC defeated Nav Bharath hockey club 5-1 after leading 2-0 at half time. The goal scorers for SAI-STC were Veer Singh and M.A. Aaleem (two each) and Vijay Kumar. Satya Maheshwar Rao scored for NBHC.
Andhra Pradesh Police defeated ITRC 1-0. The scorer was Mohd Rafiuddin.
