Army & doctors

Sir, — In the Army, sensibilities such as those expressed by Ms. Moudgil, who refused to be examined by a male doctor, will adversely impact operational efficiency and harmonious working. If Ms. Moudgil were to be wounded in combat or otherwise, would she raise objections to being operated upon by a male surgeon?

Wg. Cdr. (retd.) Ravi Mani,
