Army recruitment rally in Bellary

BIDAR, SEPT. 25. The Indian Army will hold a recruitment rally in Bellary from October 6 to October 13.

The eligibility criteria are as follows: the applicants should be born between January 14, 1982 to April 6, 1987.

Those applying for soldier (general duty) should have passed their pre-university course (PUC) or should have obtained at least 45 per cent marks in Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC).

Applicants for soldier (technical) and soldier (nursing assistant) should have scored at least 50 per cent marks in PUC with a minimum of 40 per cent in each subject.

Aspirants for the post of soldier (clerk/store keeper) should have a minimum of 50 per cent marks in PUC.

Those with training in computers and typing will be given 20 marks.

Applicants with a height of 162-166 cm and weighing a minimum of 50 kg can directly participate.

The applicants must bring with them original and photo copies of SSLC/PUC marks cards, 12 passport size photographs, affidavits on stamp papers by parents of applicants who are 18-years-old, and certificates of National Cadet Corps, sports and service certificates of sons of ex-servicemen, according to a press release by the district employment officer.
