Hurriyat accuses Centre of `inconsistency'
SRINAGAR,
SEPT. 26.
The moderate faction of the separatist Hurriyat Conference today accused the Centre of ``inconsistency'' in the talks on the Kashmir issue.
Reacting to the Union Home Minister, Shivraj Patil's remarks that the Government's dialogue with the separatist amalgam would be held without pre-conditions, the former Hurriyat chairman Maulana Abbas Ansari, said ``Patil now says that he would be talking to us without any pre-conditions but he had stated earlier that talks would be held within the preview of the Indian Constitution, which is not acceptable to us.''
``We are not going to accept double and triple policies,'' he said. PTI.
