M.S.K. Prasad to lead Andhra

VIJAYAWADA, SEPT. 26. M.S.K. Prasad and Y. Venugopala Rao have been named captain and vice-captain respectively, of the Andhra cricket team for the Ranji Trophy matches this season.

A training camp for the Andhra team probables will be held at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam from Oct. 1 to 31 under the watchful eye of former India player, B.K. Venkatesh Prasad, according to the Andhra Cricket Association secretary N. Venkata Rao.

The probables: M.S.K. Prasad (Captain), Y. Venugopala Rao (vice-captain), Amit Pathak, Y. Gnaneswara Rao, M. Suresh, K.S. Shabuddin, D. Kalyankrishna, R.V.Ch. Prasad, Md. Faiq, V.V.V. Apparao, A.S.K. Varma, L.N. Prasad Reddy, B. Balaji Krishna Singh, V.V.B. Saraswathi Reddy, A.G. Pradeep, A.G. Praveen, P.A.V.N. Raju, K. Nagagangadhar, V. Manojsal and N. Israel Raju. Coach: B.K. Venkatesh Prasad.
