HYDERABAD, SEPT. 26. Wesley Junior College won the Idea Cup under-19 cricket tournament, defeating Bhavans Aurobindo Junior college by 108 runs in the final here on Sunday. The architect of the victory was Aniketh Rao who scored an unbeaten 100 for Wesley JC. Mr. C.V. Anand, IPS, Vice-President of HCA was the chief guest. The wining team received a cash award of Rs.15,000 and the runner-up Rs.10,000. The Man of the Match award went to Aniketh Rao and the Man of the Tournament award went to Syed Mohd Ashraf of Sultan-Ul-Uloom JC.
Wesley JC 280 for four (Mohd. Azmath Khan 72, Aniketh Rao 100 n.o., P.S.S. Bharat Kumar 60) bt Bhavans Aurobindo JC 172 (G. Rohit Kumar 40).
