Edmistone breaks world record

BRISBANE, SEPT. 26. A night after equalling the short-course world record in the 50 metres breaststroke, Australian swimmer Jade Edmistone has the mark all to herself. Edmistone clocked a time of 29.90 seconds on Sunday — 0.06 faster than her time of 29.96 she swam in the semifinal on Saturday. — AP
