Better run-rate sees Ernakulam through
KOCHI,
SEPT. 26.
Leg-spinner Arjun Padmanabhan picked up four wickets as Ernakulam defeated Kottayam on superior run-rate in a rain-interrupted Group `A' match of the State under-17 inter-district cricket championship at the Maharaja's College Ground here on Sunday.
The scores: Kottayam 164 for nine in 45 overs (Arjun Padmanabhan four for 46) lost to Ernakulam 120 for four in 32 overs.
