Sumit, Sandhya get top billing

GURGAON, SEPT. 26. Sumit Prakash Gupta and Sandhya Nagaraj will be the No.1 seeds in the boys and girls sections respectively in the Adidas ITF grade `IV' junior tennis tournament to be held at the National Tennis Centre (NTA), here from Monday. With players like the champion of a similar tournament in Mumbai, Vivek Shokeen, apart from a clutch of talented youngsters in the fray in both the boys and girls events, it should be lively action on the clay courts.

The seedings: Boys: 1. Sumit Prakash Gupta, 2. Vivek Shokeen, 3. Kaushik Raju, 4. Anshuman Dutta, 5. Tejasvi Rao, 6. Rohan Gide, 7. Prateek Shantharaju and 8. Arnav Jain.

Girls: 1. Sandhya Nagaraj, 2. Sandri Gangothri, 3. G. K. Shweta, 4. Pooja Kommireddi, 5. Ashmitha Easwaramurthi, 6. Asha Nandakumar, 7. Preethi Subramaniam and 8. Poojashree Venkatesh.
