KOLLAM, SEPT. 26. Bhavah-04, three-day national-level technical symposium being organised by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of the TKM College of Engineering, will begin on the college campus on Tuesday. The Education Minister, E.T. Mohammed Basheer, will inaugurate the symposium. More than 500 students from nearly 100 engineering colleges from all over the country are expected to participate in the event. Bhavah-04 comprises six events. Over 150 entries have been received for `Sidhanta', a technical paper presentation contest with the aim of giving students a platform for mutual interaction. `Samirana' is a working model presentation contest. `Indriya' will be a quiz programme in which graduate students of all discipline can compete. `Kurukshethra' is an open debate on the self-financing colleges. The other events are `Samasya' and `Adwaitha'.
