BANGALORE, SEPT. 26. Three men allegedly robbed Agarwal, a steel merchant, of Rs. 65,000 in cash on Lakshmi Road in Shantinagar in Ashoknagar Police Station limits on Saturday night. The police said the 65-year-old merchant was sitting in his car waiting for his driver to open his house gate, when the incident took place. Mr. Agarwal had just closed his steel shop and returned. The culprits beat him up inside his car before fleeing with the cash bag. Ashoknagar police have registered a case of robbery.
Woman found dead
Narayanamma (35) was found murdered at K.P. Layout in the Jnanabharathi Police Station limits on Sunday morning. The victim's body bore stab wounds. Narayanamma was a manual labourer. The Jnanabharathi police have registered a case of murder.
Knocked down
Ronny Edward (65) was fatally knocked down by a goods carrier in Karmachand Layout in the Frazer Town Police Station limits on Saturday. The victim was a resident of Lingarajapuram.
