Around the City

Rain likely today

On Monday, there will be cloudy skies and rain is likely in the city, according to the India Meteorological Department forecast. On Sunday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 28.9 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 20.7 degrees Celsius. The corresponding readings at the airport were 28 degrees Celsius and 20 degrees Celsius. The city recorded 2.5 mm rain on Sunday and the airport 2.4 mm rain. The relative humidity was 84 per cent in the city and 79 per cent at the airport, respectively.

Ayurvedic camp

Suresh C. Shah has been elected Secretary of the Gujarati Vardhman Sthanakvasi Jain Sangh in Gandhinagar for the second consecutive time.

Adalat

The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board will hold water adalats on Monday and Tuesday at 11 a.m. at MNK Park and West of Chord Road respectively. The adalats will be conducted at the offices of the Assistant Executive Engineer, South-4 sub division, M.N.K. Park and West-4 sub-division, West of Chord Road.
