BANGALORE, SEPT. 27. As part of World Tourism Day, Christ College today organised a quiz and day-long seminar on tourism. The college launched the International Air Transport Association today. This association will teach individuals to calculate airfares. At Bangalore University too a panel discussion on tourism and sports was conducted.
Tourism run
Earlier in the day, a tourism run was organised by Christ College, in association with the State Government's Department of Tourism. More than 780 individuals took part in the run. It was flagged off by Abdul Sattar Sait, Chairman of the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC). The KSTDC Commissioner, Mahendra Jain, said at the valedictory function of World Tourism Day celebrations that Karnataka had several adventure activities to offer the sports-minded.
