This Day That Age
The Portuguese Government have passed a new decree depriving Goans who reside outside Goa of their Goan nationality. It states, "Goans residing outside Goa for more than five years cease to be Goans." The decree is said to have been issued to treat the Goan nationals, who are agitating and offering satyagraha, "as outsiders" and thus show to the world that outsiders, and not Goans, are agitating for the liberation of Goa.
