Letters to the Editor
Sir, A few days ago, we had the Kerala textbook episode involving the omission of Gujarat from the national anthem. The Kerala Government said the omission was "unintentional." We now find that the names of V.D. Savarkar, Bhagat Singh and Chandrashekar Azad have been omitted from the Social Science textbook published by the Karnataka Government. This lapse has also been described as unintentional. Are there no limits to `unintentional' mistakes and omissions? S. Bakthavathsalan, Chennai
