Wrong priorities?

Sir, — The latest from Railway Minister Lalu Prasad is the proposal to introduce neem twigs as toothbrushes on trains (Sept. 27). He would do well to first ascertain the preference of passengers rather than push his own choices such as the khullad (earthen pot), lassi and so on.

The priorities of the passengers are punctuality, cleanliness, comfort, safety and better coaches.

K.S. Gopalakrishnan,
New Delhi
