Sir, — Gandhi is revered as the Father of the Nation. But today, anything that is talked of in a casual manner is given his name.

The III class seats in film theatres are supposed to constitute the Gandhi class. Gandhi is a pet name given to timid boys in classrooms. He is the character of third-rate SMS jokes.

And to cap it all, his killing is justified and killer glorified in drama and books.
