Unbeaten double century by Anirudh

HYDERABAD, SEPT. 28. Anirudh Singh scored an unbeaten 206 to enable State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) score 324 for eight against CCOB in the Southend Raymonds sponsored three-day match knockout championship here on Tuesday.

The scores:

Southend Raymonds knockout tournament (three-day match): Andhra Bank 235 (Ronald Rodrigues 90, Kiran Kumar 48, Satish five for 46) bt Vijay Bharat CC 112 (Md. Ghouse six for 27).

SBI 379 for nine (Abdul Azeem 143, Shaik Riaz 63, Ranganath Rao 61, Vinod Makhija five for 101) vs Balaji Colts XI.

SBH 324 for eight (Anirudh Singh 206 not out, Wasiuddin four for 105) vs CCOB XI.

MP Colts 111 vs SCRSA 85 for two.

A Div institutional league for Major Guruswamy Trophy: HMWSSB 201 for nine (Somasekhar 42, Vijay 50, Venkat three for 14) bt APSEB 99 (Somasekhar five for 41).

APCOB 120 (Sai Reddy 50, Baswaraj five for 31) lost to Commercial Taxes XI 122 for no loss (Chanti 66 not out, Baswaraj 54 not out).

A Div league (two day match) for R. Jaywanth Rao Trophy: Gujarathi CC 273 (Ajay Singh 89, Abhishek Shah 69, Santosh four for 74, Ashwin five for 65) bt Continental CC 229 (James 86, Ali 53).

A Div (one day match) for G.D. Quraishi Trophy: Sunil Raghava XI 234 for six (Anwar 67) lost to Falaknuma CC 235 for eight (Prashanth Reddy 46, Srinivas Naik 74 not out, Praveen Reddy 42 not out).
