St Joseph's triumphs
KOTTAYAM,
SEPT. 28.
St Joseph's HSS (Pulincunnu) defeated host St Ephrem's HSS 72-61 and won the second Ephrem's Trophy all-Kerala inter-school basketball tournament at Mannanam on Tuesday.
Albin Baby of the host school was named best player. Retired CRPF IG, George C. Podipara, gave away the prizes. Fr Sebastian Chamthara, CMI Corporate Manager, presided.
The results: St Joseph's, Pulincunnu 72 (Venkatesh 21, Utrick 18) bt St Ephrem, Mannanam 61 (Subin 14, Nirmal 14).
