Thrissur beats Kannur
KOZHIKODE,
SEPT. 28.
Thrissur defeated Kannur by four wickets in the State (under-17) inter-district cricket championship at Thalassery on Tuesday. The match between Palakkad and Kozhikode was called off due to rain.
The scores: Kannur 138 for six in 30 overs (Sidharth Vijay 40) lost to
Thrissur 139 for six in 29 overs (Jackson 47 n.o., Gibson 31, Sanoop Muralidharan three for 42, Beenash three for 50).
