The remarkable Rejith

KOCHI, SEPT. 28. A couple of hours after winning the 110m hurdles gold, Ernakulam's Rejith soared to the men's pole vault crown at the 35th Kerala Police athletic meet at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here on Tuesday.

SRAF's Lal Babu also completed a double in the men's throw events. Babu, who won the shot put on Monday, was a comfortable winner in the today.

Idukki's Binoy K. Thomas easily took the decathlon title, finishing more than 700 points clear of second-placed Sabu of Kannur.
