City `A' takes five points
CHENNAI,
SEPT. 28.
City `A', resuming at six for no loss, made 161 for three in reply to Districts `A's 160 and took five points on the second and final day of the TNCA round-robin under-17 cricket tournament at Mayajaal Sports Village here on Tuesday.
At the Nest (VB Academy), Kelambakkam, no play was possible for the second consecutive day between City `B' and Districts `B' due to rain. The teams shared three points each.
The scores:
Districts `A' 160 drew with City `A' 161 for three in 42.1 overs (S. Murali 63 not out). City `A' 5 points; Districts `A' 2.
Districts `B' v City `B'. No play possible. City `B' 3, Districts `B' 3.
