ANANTAPUR, SEPT. 28. One more criminal case was registered against the Telugu Desam Party legislator of Penukonda, Paritala Ravindra, in the district today. The fresh case pertained to August 2002 was registered in Roddam Police Station on another incident of man-missing.

When contacted, the Superintendent of Police, R.S. Praveen Kumar, stated that based on a complaint lodged by Tulasamma, the mother of one Bhaskar Reddy of Gowrajupalli, the Roddam police had registered a case (40/2004) under section 364 of IPC read with section 34 against Mr. Ravindra and others.

In her complaint, Tulasamma had alleged that Mr. Ravindra, one Valluru Narayana Reddy and eight others had abducted her son in August 2002, taken to Venkatapuram (the native place of Mr. Ravindra) and killed him in the captivity.

According to the information reaching here, Bhaskar Reddy, a close associate of G. Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri, the main accused in the Jubilee Hills car-bomb blast case who is undergoing imprisonment now, was an accused in the car-bomb case but he was exonerated by the court later.
