Jayalalithaa coming

HYDERABAD,
SEPT. 28.
The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, J. Jayalalithaa, is coming to Hyderabad on October 1 for taking up the issue of supplying Telugu Ganga water for Chennai with her Andhra Pradesh counterpart, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy.
According to a tentative schedule, she will have discussions with Dr. Reddy at the Secretariat, accompanied by officials. Dr. Rajasekhara Reddy has declared his Government's resolve to supply the water.
Andhra Pradesh is trying to get Maharashtra and Karnataka to contribute their share of 5 tmc ft each for the project, under an agreement among the three States.
