BANGALORE, SEPT. 28. The Mysore Dasara Gold Card, a special privilege card, for Rs. 5,000, with several benefits that will enable the buyer to experience Dasara in a unique way, was today launched here by the Chief Minister, N. Dharam Singh. The card, an initiative with the private sector, had fetched Rs. 36 lakhs last year. The buyer gets a range of benefits entry to two to cultural events and places of interest, and special discounts in hotels and business houses. Details can be had on phone 0821-2418888. The website is www.mysoredasara.com. From October 15 to 22, music concerts featuring Kadri Gopalnath (saxophone), T.N. Sheshagopalan and Ganapati Bhat Hasanagi (Carnatic and Hindustani jugalbandi) among others have been planned. The Gold Card user will be able to enjoy all these concerts free.
