HYDERABAD, SEPT. 28. Fresh leads in the murder of former TDP sarpanch, Narsimha Reddy, have pointed to the possible involvement of a housewife, along with another person, Sai Baba Reddy, in whose house a bloodstained flower vase has been recovered. Sources said Sai Baba Reddy offered to buy machinery of a "masala" manufacturing unit belonging to the woman and reportedly paid more than Rs. 1 lakh for the same.
The incident
Meanwhile, Narsimha Reddy also learnt about the deal and expressed his interest to invest money in the unit. He reportedly met the housewife and Sai Baba Reddy, who were living in rented portions of a double-storied building in L.B. Nagar on September 20 and discussed the proposal. He reportedly called up the woman more than three times on September 22 and finally went to her house and was not seen since then. "We do not know what transpired among the three," a police officer said. However, the blood stained flower vase and a rope were found from the portion and this suggested that Narsimha Reddy could have been killed in that house.
