NEW DELHI, SEPT. 28. Nine women and a man allegedly engaged in flesh trade were arrested at Gandhi Nagar in East Delhi on Monday. The alleged prostitutes belong to the lower income group and were initiated into the flesh trade owing to financial constraints. According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, (East Delhi), Nuzhat Hussan, the police received a tip-off that some prostitutes were operating in the Gandhi Nagar area. Subsequently, they laid a trap and arrested seven of them. During the operation, the police have arrested two more women and a man on charges of running that racket. While further investigations into the case are on, the police said four of the prostitutes were married. During interrogation, they revealed that they got into this field in order to making money for their living.
