BMW showroom opened
BANGALORE: The Managing Director of BMW's West Asia business, Guenther Seeman, said here on Tuesday, that too few of the German auto company's cars were sold in the country to justify a manufacturing plant. After opening another showroom of Navnit Motors, a BMW car dealership here, he said it was early days to be specific on any plans. Navnit Motors, which also had a showroom in Mumbai, aimed to sell some 40 `premium' cars this year in Bangalore, the dealership's owner, Navnit Kachalia told reporters. The new showroom cost some Rs. 9 crores to set up, Mr. Kachalia said. It would initially showcase six of the latest BMW premium models, he said. Our Staff Reporter
