Army Red pipped host Indian Navy to gain the top position in the Greco-Roman style of the 54th Service wrestling championship. Army Green was third with 17 points and Air Force was fourth with seven points.

Arvind Kumar (AR), 2. K.K. Patel (AG); 84-kg: 1. Kuldeep (Navy), 2. Manoj Kumar (AG); 96-kg: 1. Dayakishan (AR), 2. K.P. Singh (Navy); 96-kg plus: 1. Ashok Kumar (Navy), 2. Devender (AR).
