Double for DAV (Kukatpally)

CHENNAI, SEPT. 29. DAV Public School (Kukatpally, Hyderabad) won the boys' and girls' titles in the CBSE Cluster V South Zone kho-kho tournament, conducted by Kola Saraswathi Vaishnav SSS, at Rajarathinam Stadium here recently.

The results: Girls (final): DAV Public School (Kukatpally, Hyderabad) bt SKNS Vivekananda Vidyalaya (Chennai) 6-5. Position III & IV: Sri Ram Dayal Khemka (Thiruvottiyur) bt Sindhi Model SSS (Chennai) 11-7. Semifinals: DAV Public School bt Sindhi Model SSS (Chennai) 14-6; SKNS Vivekananda Vidyalaya (Chennai) bt Sri Ram Dayal Khemka 14-10.

Boys (final): DAV Public School (Hyderabad) bt Sri Ram Dayal Khemka (Thiruvottiyur) 11-5. Position III & IV: SKNS Vivekananda Vidyalaya bt Sindhi Model SSS (Chennai) 11-6. Semifinals: DAV Public School bt Sindhi Model SSS (Chennai) 11-3; Sri Ram Dayal Khemka bt SKNS Vivekananda Vidyalaya (Chennai) 10-6.

Best player (boys): V. Aditya (DAV Public School, Hyderabad). Best player (girls): C. Preethi (SKNS Vivekananda Vidyalaya, Chennai).
