THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, SEPT. 29. Chinmaya Vidyalaya (Vaduthala) will meet Chinmaya Vidyalaya (Thripunithura) in the finals in the girls' section in the all-Kerala CBSE inter-school volleyball tournament. In the semifinals on Wednesday, Chinmaya Vidyalaya (Vaduthala) defeated CKMNSS (Chalakudy) 25-9, 25-11, 25-14 while Chinmaya Vidyalaya (Thripunithura) defeated MG Public School (Chottanikkara) 25-23, 25-13, 25-20. In the boys' section, Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vidyaprakash Public School, NSSHS and SN Vidya Bhavan made the semifinals. In the quaterfinals, Chinmaya Vidyalaya (Thripunithura) overcame Kochin Refineries School (Ambalamugal) 23-25, 25-23, 15-9 while Vidya Prakash Public School (Vadakara) defeated Chinmaya Vidyalaya (Vaduthala) 26-24, 27-25. NSS (Thripunithura) breezed past Sree Chithira Thirunal Residential Central School 25-16, 25-6 and SN Vidya Bhavan (Kodungaloor) scored an easy 25-10, 25-4 win over Amritha Vidyapeedom in the other quarterfinal matches.
