MULTAN, SEPT. 29. Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq wants to put the disappointment of his team's ICC Champions Trophy semifinal defeat behind him as his team seeks a victory over Zimbabwe in the opening game of the triangular one-day series here on Thursday. ``It's hard to compete against teams like Zimbabwe, because you never know what to expect from them,'' Inzamam told reporters on Wednesday.
``Zimbabwe is not a strong team but Sri Lanka is the tough team in this tournament,'' he said. I'm confident that we have the ability to give them (Sri Lanka) a tough time.''
Two new faces
Pakistan has included two uncapped players seamer Rao Iftikhar and Bazid Khan, son of Majid Khan in the squad of 15 for the triangular series.
Zimbabwe's 21-year-old captain Tatenda Taibu said he believed his team whose average age is 21 has nothing to lose from the tournament, with the pressure firmly on Pakistan and Sri Lanka. ``Our job is to play good competitive cricket, and in doing so, look for victory,'' Taibu said. AP
