52 schools in fray
NEW DELHI,
SEPT. 29.
Fifty-two schools of the Capital, headed by defending champion Salwan School, will vie for honours in the Parle Cup (under-17) cricket tournament here.
According to Procam International's representative Sankaran, after the league, where each of the four groups has 13 teams, the top four finishers from each group would then be divided into four pools for the pre-quarterfinal league. Thereafter, the pool toppers move into the semifinals.
The preliminary league phase will end on October 10.
To be played over six centres all over the country, the event will culminate with the winner of each leg playing for the Parle Champions Trophy here next year.
