Salwan girls advance

NEW DELHI, SEPT. 29. Salwan Public School defeated Mount Carmel 25-8 in the girls (cluster XI) section as one-sided matches continued in the CBSE inter-school basketball tournament here on Wednesday.

The results: Boys (Cluster XII): Mount St. Mary's bt Ganga International 57-19; Mont Fort bt Gyan Mandir 50-13; Oxford bt Mann Public School 42-28; Sachdeva bt Modern School (Vasant Vihar) 47-19.

Girls (Cluster XII): Oxford bt Holy Child 26-7; Ganga International bt Sumermal Jain 12-11; Modern School (Vasant Vihar) bt Divine Happy 23-1;(cluster XI): Salwan Public School bt Mount Carmel 25-6; Manav Sthali bt St. Thomas 22-8; Carmel Convent bt Ramjas 21-3.
