BPL expands roaming network

COIMBATORE: BPL Mobile has on Friday launched a unique technology solution to offer seamless international roaming for its subscribers in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. The solution has come in the form of a Dual IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) card (SIM card) that leverages the BPL Mobile's roaming alliances with over 540 networks in 190 countries worldwide to roam into. The Chief Operating Officer, BPL Mobile (Tamil Nadu circle), A. J. Ishwar Kumar, said the facility was available to subscribers at no extra cost. — Our Staff Reporter
