BHEL bags turnkey contract

KOLKATA: Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. on Friday bagged an order worth Rs. 800 crores from the West Bengal Power Development Corporation Ltd. (WBPDCL) for erection, testing and commissioning of a 250 MW power plant at Santaldih in the State on a turnkey basis. A BHEL spokesman said the project was to be commissioned within a timeframe of 33 months. — PTI
