Canara Bank grant for NGO
KOZHIKODE: Canara Bank, the lead bank, released a sum of Rs. 5.30 lakhs as grant to the Malabar Theeradesha Vanitha Federation (MTVF), Kampuram, here to promote self-help groups (SHGs), and linkage with the bank. The sanction letter was handed over by the Mayor Thottathil Raveendran to the President, MTVF, Sheeba Asokan, at a function held here on Friday. The General Manager, Canara Bank, Kerala Circle, G. Umesh Shenoi, presided. The Assistant General Manager, K. G. P. Shenoi, and Chief Manager, Veera Raghavan, AGM, Nabard Raju Varghese, and MTVF Secretary, P. Sreeja participated. — Our Staff Reporter
