ZP chief dares TRS to move no-trust motion

HYDERABAD,
OCT. 1.
The Chairman of the Karimnagar Zilla Parishad, K.V. Rajeswara Rao, who was expelled from the TRS on Thursday, has dared the party to move a no-confidence motion against him.
At a news conference here on Friday, Mr. Rao claimed that the TRS did not have the numbers in the local body to move the no-trust motion.
He demonstrated that eight members of Zilla Parishad supported him and said he found favour with several other members.Mr. Rao said he would join a party that would secure Statehood for Telangana. Till then he would remain an independent.
He added that the TRS president, K. Chandrasekhar Rao, expelled him from the party as he was close to Congressmen.
He defended his closeness with them in the interest of the development of the district as ZP chief.
