MARGAO, OCT. 1 . Punjab boys stole the limelight, claiming three out of four gold medals on the second day of the sub-junior National Judo Championships at the Indoor Complex, Fatorda, here on Friday. In the girls' section, J-K claimed two out of four golds. In the boys' section, after Punjab's Deepak claimed the honour in the under-12 (25 kg category), it was Haryana lads who stole the limelight with Ravinder (U-12), Anup (12-14 yrs) and Sonu (U-14) claiming golds in the 30 kg, 35 kg and 40 kg respectively. In the girls' section, Jammu and Kashmir's Kavita Sharma and Monika Thakur claimed golds in the 25 kg and 35 kg respectively. The results: Boys 25 kgs (under-12): 1. Deepak (Pun); 2. Gourav (Har); 3. Rahul Azgaonkar (Goa) and Akshay Patil (Mah `B'). 30 kg (under-12): 1. Ravinder (Har); Surchandra (Man); M. Sachin Kumar (AP) and Ranjit Payra (WB). 35 kg (12-14): Anup (Har); Tarun (J-K); Deepak (Del) and Karan Deep (Pun). 40 kg (under-14): 1. Sonu (Har); 2. Vishal (Pun); 3. Nurul (Del) and Akshay Gudadhe (Mah `B').
